“European Women – Images of Interaction”
in Esbjerg, Denmark 22nd – 26th May 2003
Hostess
was the daghojskolen “De Frie Fugle” (day high school “The Free Bird”)
in Esbjerg. The external participants came from the partner organisations
in Wexford – Ireland, Belfast – Northern Ireland – UK, Budapest – Hungary,
Ulm and Tübingen – Germany.
Also invited was a representative from Warsaw – Poland, whose institution
will be represented in the learning partnership’s 2nd project year.

- opening of the joint photo exhibition “Women In Progress” in the Seminaret, CVU-Vest
- introduction of the development and concept of the day high school for women “De Frie Fugle”
- participants of all countries’ personal accounts on their life and learning stories, focusing mainly on what part
the role of women’s education played for them in it
- reflection on the 1st project year’s work, arrangements concerning the travelling exhibition “Women In Progress”
The Danish hostesses provided an interesting programme for all 30 participants.
Amongst other things the International reception took place on own premises,
with a Danish buffet and cabaret intermezzi. This occasion gave everybody
an opportunity to get to know each other.
